Off to the New Forest for a week, based in Lymington. Any singarounds or Folk Clubs within a twenty mile radius of Lymington please. Never visited this area before and would appreciate any info. Thanks for anything useful

Depends on how you're prepared to travel! Put Acoustic Calendar for Wessex into Google and you'll find one or two places reasonably close to Lymington. Also, put SCoFF (Southern Counties Folk Federation)in as well.

You'd be made very welcome at Wimborne, any Thursday.

Ooops! Forgot you'd already said '20 mile radius.'

It's probably less than 20 miles - I would travel via the A337 and Bournemouth Airport. We start at 8.30, in the British Legion and there's free parking just behind it.

The nearest session to Lymington is at Pennington, at the Wheel Inn on a Monday night, starting at 9 o'clock. I've never been, but apparently it's still running.
