Here is the line up etc. for WHFF 2009:-
Steve Turner, Bram Taylor, Sarah Matthews & Doug Eunson, The Morning After, Tony & Pearl O'Neill & Bill McKinnon.
Ceilidh band is StOmp Acoustic with Will Hall.
Dates :- 14,15,16 Aug. 2009.
Weekend including camping only £22, OAP £18, under 16 free accompanied by adult weekend.
Very good campsite with 24 hour loos & showers, all venues close to campsite.

I am definitley coming in my new camper, even if I have to make it i short bursts then stop for a bit and I am going to tell them at the hospital on Monday that is what I am going to do. Put me a ticket by.

Sitting at work watching the clock.
We will be there but without the caravan, we sold it thinking we would not need it until song and ale, so lookout for that rare sight of moira in a tent this has not been seen since SITVFF 1989.

I'll second that !! Best weather for ages,and the Saturday evening BBQ was a great social event,and thoroughly enjoyable---shame there were no Signal Crayfish 'though ! Rain friday night and a morning of Drizzle saturday did not spoil an excellent weekend ! Music Session in the rugby club friday was great fun !

Lovely relaxing weekend, thanks so much to Kate & Dave and all who helped to make it another Fab White Horse Festival!!

Highpoint of the festival for me was hearing Dave sing at lunchtime today, what a fab song & a pretty good singer too *grin*

Highpoint for me had to be the Scout Hut Friday, all had their turn and it then escalated to a singaround Crack.
Also to be noted was Daves song on Sunday. A brill voice and song well sung after the sensative presentation !

Alternator went and by Exeter I had no electrics, brakes etc. spent all day in a garge or waiting for rac and complications as it is still under warranty. finally fixed at 1/4 to 6 but the thought of a 3 1/2 hr drive with the possibility of a duff leisure battery when I got there.... Bugger I said [actually I didn't but I can't put that here] so, thanks all for messages and van and me are well but tired and very miffed. xx

Mr Sullivan reminded me that under Festival Rule 25(c)(i)it is actually mandatory to consume one's own weight in beer. I now have to lose about a barrel in weight.

Herself will be fine after a week's sleep - she says a big thanks to Admiral for his expression of concern at the concert, and to Kate for the lift (failing which we'd have had to have strapped her to a luggage trolley)

However, this is as good as. I've been twice and I might be a permanent invader. If I can find an Old Peoples Home near by that will have me.

Used to live in Swindon years and years ago. Just got contact with some family nearby after 42 years. I'm over for week 37 and will probably drop in to the Swindon, and Highworth Folk Clubs whilst I'm there
