Trying to track down a song that is proving very elusive. The title is I think Melizeweh, or something like that.Phonetically Mell-ease-way. Possibly in the Zulu or nDebele(Matabele?) language? The song is about a girl called Melizeweh(?) who doesn't want to go home after school, as she hasn't finished learning yet.
We know how the song goes, it is a question of tracking down authorship or any background info in order to record it and put it on a record.
Anybody come across it? First learned at a community singing workshop a long time ago in the New Vic Theatre in Stoke-on-Trent (UK) but can't remember who was teaching it.

First lines sometimes are findable. Posting that line may help.
