Subject: Another query [sorry, but... From: GUEST,MtheGM Date: 09 Aug 09 - 08:51 AM ... nobody knows everything by instinct or osmosis]. When the # of responses to a thread reaches a certain level, the score is underlined on the Forum Home list, & an * + lc d added. What is the significance of these additions, please? |
Subject: RE: another query [sorry, but... From: Emma B Date: 09 Aug 09 - 09:02 AM I think what you're referring to is that when the number of posts in any one thread reaches 50 it is possible to click on the 'd' and read the most recent posts first - ie in descending order hope that helps :) |
Subject: RE: another query [sorry, but... From: Mick Pearce (MCP) Date: 09 Aug 09 - 09:07 AM A little more in fact. Clicking on the number will allow you to view the threads in order a page at a time in normal chronological order, and as EmmaB says clicking on the small d will do the same but presenting the threads a page at a time in reverse order. In both cases you also get a page selector at the top of the threads which will allow you to go directly to a particular page. Mick |
