There is a Tune and a song "Devil's Song" from an old Tara Album.
Who can help with the words?
I don't understand all.
It's not the Song "Some say the devil is dead"!

"Some say the devil is dead, I said hardly,
Some say the devil is dead
and buried in Killarney."

last verse:
"Some say the devil is dead, I said hardly
I 've seen him uo in Dublin Town
drinking with me...... (what?)

hello Uwe:

according to my cd cover lyrics are:

Some say the devil`s dead, I say hardly
some say the devil`s dead,
he`s buried in Killarney

Some say he rose again, I say hardly
some say he rose again,
he joined the british army

Some say thedevil`s sittin`, I say hardly
I`ve seen him down in Dublin town
drinking with me Carleen
