Try the euro-tunes session at the gorgeous coaching inn the George in Borough High Street only 5 minutes from London Bridge. I don't personally like it but many do and he may need to be reasonably confident, everybody playing seems to know everybody playing, and the bankers (rhymer) will be braying in the background - but he should be confident, he is plenty good enough. Beer is dear. I think it's one of four Mondays (not sure which, might be first) every month. Surely there are tune sessions in Woolwich and Greenwich too. |

Subject: RE: Sessions near public transport-DartfordBexleyheath From: Girl Friday Date: 22 Aug 09 - 10:26 AM Thanks for all those suggestions. I will look at Folk London, but thought you guys out there are often in the know about sessions that aren't advertised. Greenwich says it's English traditional, so I discounted it.Will look at the ot5her suggestions and pass them o EG'sn to Ben. E G the whole point is that Trevor desn't take him. |
