Ah. I thought you meant Ash, as in Ash-cum-Ridley, near Fawkham. By no means as handy as I thought it was.

Thanks. I think I may be in Gloucestershire, anyway, but if not, I could try to be there. It's surprising how quickly one can cross the county these days. (Though the A2 on a bank holiday might not be at its fastest.

When my informant first mentioned this, she said it was in or near Gillingham. The eventual location is a bit further away it seems. She comes from Romford, and the pub and therefore, the folk club and festival, is run by her friend, the landlord. All the info I posted, was left on my phone last week. She doesn't do computers.

1. May I suggest putting up a "Folk against Fascism" banner?

2. John, you should put Ben forward strongly to Helen Treacy.

Not if driving...

Perhaps the Sarf Lunnon mob would wisely organise themselves into a car pool, since I can see that Romany Man is lift-bereft, but the Tribe of Leopards are coming and Penny S (probably).

I think I will probably come after all. Who from the Mudway Towns area wants to organise another car-pool?
