I am told that it is a beer festival beginning on the previous Thursday. No idea what beer but it should be real ale. I advise contacting the landlord,Richard. The website I was given doesn't seem to work.

Friendly landlord and locals.. not been able to go to sessions since they changed from Mon to Tues but will be there Bank Hol . Hope the weather keeps fine!

News has reached me of a Mini Festival with song and ale at The Chequers Inn Ash, on Bank Holiday Monday, August 31st.Featured artists include John Barden,No Worries, and The Ramblin' Boys. There is also a singaround. The day starts at 2 pm.
