We;re playing at the Bridge Inn, Middleton-in-Teesdale on Friday 21st August 2009, starting at around 8.30.

As it's a pub gig, there's no cover charge...though there may be some covers played!

Graeme,
Brother Crow.

watch out for a couple of fans!

Just as well its a pub set - High Force is a bit close for anyone who wanted to jump off after Tom Barton!

Just 'cos it was a pub set doesn't mean we didn't play Tom Barton...it was an interesting night, which for some reason, we ended up playing one of our famed two and a half hour sets...boy did I feel it the next day!!!

;-)

Cheers,
Graeme.

Just spotted this too late as ever!
Have you ever got to the Sunday night at the Black Bull Frosterley that Dave and Annie run?

I saw Gerry Caley and Chuck Fleming at the Black Bull not so long ago. A great night. Friendly staff, good music, nice building, clean gents! Only one thing spoiled the night and that was the bloody awful excuse for beer that was on sale. Piss; no other word to describe it and it wasnt cheap piss either. A shame because everything else was so right.

Ah, the Black Bull....yes, Andy had his stag night there cos (sorry treeman) we like the beer...depends what he has on of course, it always rotates!

...we've popped up and played in the conner a few times, but have never played a gig...I don't think we're Duncan's cup of tea to be honest...ah well, such is life...!!!

We are playing a few gigs in the area this autumn though, 1 confirmed, and two provisional dates so far...it's verbally agreed, we're just waiting for the booking forms.

We also planning another in Teesdale (perhaps Cotherstone), and a couple more further afield...

- Wolsingham Town Hall, Saturday 3rd October (confirmed)
- Mickleton Town Hall, Saturday 10th October 2008 (awaiting confirmation)
- St Johns Chapel Town Hall, Saturday 21st November (awaiting confirmation)

Tickets for Wolsingham are now on sale via the website, £5 (or £4 concessions). The others will be on sale soon...

...of sourse, you could always pay on the door.

Graeme.

Oh dear Graeme, looks like you've been propping a bar up at lunchtime :-).

Please let me know when you've got some dates further south - I'm away 3rd Oct, otherwise engaged on 10th Oct and I don't know about 21st Nov yet.

But I will see you both again soon - somehow!

Deirdre
