Hi, all, the fourth annual Celts & Currachs is happening this Saturday, August 22, in New London. We will have Aoife Clancy, Hanneke Cassel & her band, Matt & Shannon Heaton, piper Glenn Pryor, Welsh singer Jodee James, Cornish bard Jim Wearne, Mystic Pipes & Drums, Scottish country dancing, Irish step dancing, and currach rowing demonstrations and races, plus food, drink, vendors, and Celtic Cultures exhibits. It is at Waterfront Park in historic New London; come on down! Parade is at noon, music and dance nonstop on two stages, until 6:30.

Did I mention the Irish Magic Show with Debbie O'Carroll, the Finlaysons demonstrating age-old domestic arts (I love to watch a blacksmith), and the Highland Games demos?
