Could that possibly be the Pete Berryman of Lou and Peter Berryman fame out of Madison. Wisconsin, or are there really 2 of them? By the way, where is Liskeard?

Liskeard is in Cornwall, Uk. a small market toen on the edge of Bodmin Moor. Excellent club and i think it's a different Pete Berryman

Yes, there ARE tow of them - A Cornish one and an American one !
Knowing that many Cornish miners emigrated to the Wisconsin area, back along, perhaps it is possible that they are related to each other??

Hi folks, sorry about the confusion. The Pete Berryman who we have playing at Barley Folk isn't the guy from Wisconsin. Pete Berryman is one of the great, influential British finger-style guitarists.

A legend in his own breakfast time (and if not in Wisconsin, why not?), Pete Berryman, an erstwhile member of the Famous Jug Band, has played with John James, Wizz Jones and Clive Palmer (and doubtless many others who I can't check as the site linked to above appears to be firmly locked).
