good honest liberal minded people still get their well considered

arbitrarily deleted by a minority of personal power base building
ego driven petty personality bad apple mudcat mods ????



wish it was otherwise...

please Joe,

root them out and ban them...

they are destroying mudcat from within.
and alienating so many good reasonable new young people from posting here.

I have had perfectly innocuous posts fail to show up. I usually assume that I forgot to click Submit or else I didn't click it hard enough. It happens.

Since the posts were about music, health or cooking I don't think there is a conspiracy to delete them.

I've been a member here for about six years..
you might have known me, one or two consistent mudcat IDs,

and quite a few other thread specific comical/ironic nom de plumes..

I did value my membership here..
but not any more..

I've seen too many good people bullied out of this place
by the elite big mouth few..

No, it shouldn't have lasted more than five minutes, but I've been preparing a talk I have to give tomorrow.
The messages in question were deleted because the people posting didn't use consistent identities. We don't allow anonymous posting because we find that people are more responsible when they don't hide behind anonymity.
I should also delete your messages, "no name no pack drill," but I'll close the thread instead.
