It'll be our last gig in this reunion tour, but it's all gone so well that we'll be back next summer - looking for UK and European festivals mostly, I think. Any ideas welcome!

Poem 190 of 230: BIRDWATCHERS' BUDE - WINTER 2001/2

Behind the Tourist Centre,
    Between canal and river,
On the marshy drained floodplain
    (Not now visited by train),
In among willow and reed,
    Eking out some winter feed:
Treecreepers, bobbing robins,
    Chirpy blue-tits, grey-herons,
The screams of water-rail,
    And snipe sharp on their trail.
Plus, out along limestone down,
    Soaring seabirds can be found.

Just to let anyone intersted know, Anne Lister and Mary McLaughlin performing as ANONYMA will be gracing Bude Folk Club with their presence on Sunday 23rd August at The Falcon Hotel, Bude Starting 8pm. Hoping to see a few of you there.
