Subject: Max on the Radio twice today
From: Max
Date: 22 Aug 09 - 11:46 AM

Hey all, dreams do come true... even silly ones. In addition to hosting duties on The Folk Show on WPSU, I am now host AND producer of The Blues show. I'll be on today at 1pm with Folk and 10pm EST with Blues. I'll also be in the chat here, so stop by and say hello. You can tune in online at http://wpsu.org/radio.

Everyone send me their CD's and/or email me MP3's I'll play the hell out of them.

Beer: "what a great promotional tool you are offering to members who have Cd's"

The way I read it Beer, it sounds more open than that.
I think Max is inviting anyone (with or without a produced CD) to send in music: virtually any amateur enthusiast can create MP'3 of their own music at home, and mail them online.

I missed this too *sigh* But some tracks from my CD did get played on Saturday, but on Portsmouth (NH) Community Radio to advertise the Portsmouth Maritime Festival this weekend. Several other performers were too including Barry Finn & curmudgeon!!! There's a listen again on that site, it would be great to 'listen again' on Max's!

Well done Max, I'll try to keep up with what's going on next time *grin*

Max, when might we have your show available as a podcast? Kids are all about podcasts now, and it would be great walking-publicity for the 'Cat, too. I have about 5 hours of the show via Total Recorder, and it's better than most of the podcasts I got for workout/running tunes, which BTW usually include a donation plug. No need to adjust format-- works great as a podcast as-is.

Walking Mudcat. To a blues beat.

Well hell's bells. My Rog got called out for a third or fourth time today, I forget, but he'd driven back and forth so many times, I told him I'd drive him, so doncha kt was thirty minutes before your show started? We didn't get back until it was over, so I missed it. I AM, however, listening to the blues and wailing along. GREAT stuff, as always. Someone ought to write an "I've got the Spouse of a Workaholic Blues" song. (Actually, he just really conscientious about his job.)

Folk Show is on now. I just tuned in so I don't know if Max is on or not. Should be for the blues show later, though, I think.
