Hi there,
I need help, for the past month or so I have been on a quest to find a cassette from my partners childhood. It was called "Uncle nobby's Steamboat" he said,
and it contained songs like:

Does your chewing gum loose its flavor
Grandmas feather bed

He said a group with banjos played on it.

If anyone could help me out on this one, I would be very appreciative.

Hails

The song Uncle Nobby's Steamboat can be found on one of the X Seamen's recordings. Dan Aguiar, bFrank Woerner or John Townley can help you.

Maybe the recording you're looking for is The Wayfarers, The Unicorn--26 Songs for Kids?

I think that The Unicorn--26 Songs for Kids by the wayfarers could be it... it has the right songs and the singers are Aussies.. which my partner assured me they were, when i asked if he thought the singers were Irish.
just need to see if he thinks its the right one now
