This from Beci Brown

Yes! For one night only, I will be joining 2400 other people in taking my turn on the "empty" plinth in Trafalgar Square for an hour on Saturday, September 26th, 8-9pm.

I want to use my time to promote the English folk song and dance tradition but in order to do this, I need YOUR help and this is really, really important, otherwise IT WON'T WORK!

I need people to come and join in on the day. There will be singing (and maybe some dancing) to join in with and it's even better if you bring an instrument and your voice.

Please, please, please come, I'd love to see you all there. (if you could see me, you'd see that I am on my knees here). Please invite everyone you know - the more the merrier - I think it'll be a lot of fun and it'll be a fantastic experience.

For those on Facebook, you can do a search for "singalongadancing" and that'll turn up the event.

I'll see you there!

Beci Brown
