Subject: 'Embro, Embro' CD-ROM released for free From: Jack Campin Date: 31 Aug 09 - 05:14 PM I have put the whole of my Embro, Embro CD-ROM about the music of Edinburgh on my site for free. Blurb: http://www.campin.me.uk/Embro/ Content: http://www.campin.me.uk/Embro/Webrelease/Embro/Embro.htm I could use some help, quickly. I don't want feedback on substantial issues (historical details, glitches in the tunes or texts) - save them up and pass them on to me when you have a lot at once. But I do want to know if whole swaths of stuff don't work for technical reasons. What I've uploaded is the raw version as it was on my Mac and I've done nothing special to make it portable to Windows or Linux (as I did on the CD-ROM editions). So if readers on those platforms get discombobulated stuff that doesn't make sense, please tell me so I can do the appropriate digital massage. |
Subject: RE: 'Embro, Embro' CD-ROM released for free From: Paul Burke Date: 31 Aug 09 - 05:20 PM Just to add that this is a brilliant collection, and is worth paying a great deal for. Free must be the bargain of the century. |
Subject: RE: 'Embro, Embro' CD-ROM released for free From: Jim McLean Date: 01 Sep 09 - 07:16 AM I have tried some links and they all work except for the last one .. Music of Dalkeith, it just flings up a "web page cannot be found". How do you manage to do all this excellent work? |
