The first Sunday of the month approacheth...and so we'll all be down at the Dog and Bone, John st., Lincoln from 3pm till you've had enough!
All welcome - the music will be whatever you want to play...usually a mixture of Irish, American old time, English shanty or what you will. No bosses...just a friendly encouraging crowd in a small friendly pub with real ale, food and a lovely beer garden.

Singers, musicians and audiences welcome!

We came over from Leicester and enjoyed a great session with good balance between tunes/songs. Well worth the trip.

Buggeration! Even sorrier I missed it now. At least I've kept me cold to meself though.

Next one on Sun 4th October should be a good one too - it's part of Lincoln Six Days of Folk - there's a seperate thread on this.

Pestilence permitting I should make this one!

Mando went horribly out of tune towards end though.

Sorry you missed it, BC...as has been said, we had a cracking time !

Looking forward to the next one too..after that Ian , Andrew and meself (Gone to the Dogs) will be playing the Drill Hall on 10 oct., supporting the Band From County Hell, then we've got a gig at the Jolly Brewer the weekend after, and then back to the Dog and Bone for a Thursday gig on Oct 29th....busy month!
