The Folk Diary makes a huge contribution to the Sussex folk music community and is an important reason why it's thriving. The Diary is accurate, easy to read, free and widely available; without it, clubs and concerts would be struggling to get their advertising to the people who need to see it. National festivals, instrument makers and music shops also advertise in it. When space allows, it includes reviews.

Many thanks to Jim Marshall and Vic Smith for all their sterling work over the years.
