Subject: A 'Kentish' Long Shot - Update From: Jonibee Date: 09 Sep 09 - 11:21 AM Hi there All, Just to update you on my previous postings and your fantastic replies/interest. Matthew Edwards very kindly identified details of the LP ('I Have a Dream' performed by Folk 77) that I was seeking, and directed me towards e-Bay, on which a copy was advertised for sale - at a very inflated price I might add !! Eventually, though, I did bid on the LP, but I lost the purchase in favour of a lady who wished to add the record to her collection, in order to replace a copy she had inadvertantly disposed of previously. Subsequently, I trawled various web-sites and found other copies, once again at greatly inflated prices, which I was not prepared to pay. In truth, though, I have no desire to own the record as I not a collector. In any event, were I to purchase a copy, I would have to have the tracks converted to CD in order for me to listen to the music/songs, which is all I wish to do. So, please, does anyone have a copy of the record from which they may be prepared to burn a CD, or could anyone suggest an alternative answer to my recurring problem? Very many thanks to all for your kind comments/suggestions in the past, and I am hopeful that more may be forthcoming in the not too distant future. Yours, Jonibee |
