"Looking Both Ways" is mixed and the artwork ready. Release date is middle of October, but there will be a Launch Concert (with all participants) on Sunday 8th Nocember in Pinner (at Herga's usual venue). More on this anon. Meanwhile, you can have a listen to a sampler of the album here, and see the cover here.

The voices and musical accompaniment sound wonderful.

I really liked the 3rd clip (instrumental). The sample was too short :o). And I also really like the my street song.

And I love the song about the iraqui activist's daughter,

Thanks Azizi. The 3rd clip in fact is the intro to "Daniel & Ayse" about couples of mixed religions ("... priest and imam will fight, and neither will be right..."). The accompanists on the album are:

Vicki Swan - nyckelharpa, double bass, whistle
Jonny Dyer - guitar, piano, accordion
Paul Sartin - fiddle, oboe, Cor Anglais
Pete Flood - cajon, udu pot, Iraqui frame-drum
The Tindalls - vocals

I have put the new album up on the "albums" page on my website (www.folk4all.net) but without ordering info. That will be enabled on the release date and people will be able to order it directly from there, using PayPal in either UK pounds, US Dollars or Australian Dollars.

Fergie, I'll be playing Wednesday 23rd Sep at the Cle Club, Cois Bar, Liberty Hall, Dublin 1 and Friday 25th Sep at the Cherrytree, Walkinstown, Dublin 12 - the latter as a shared bill with Niamh Parsons, one of my favourite voices since I heard her at Sidmouth 3 years ago.
