With the forum search not working, I can't find the permathread for USA events. If some one can get me to it, this post and thread can be deleted and I'll add the information to the permathread.

This coming weekend, September 18-19, 2009 there is the Hoppin' John Fiddlers Convention.

Lots of good fiddling and dancing.

Then, October 8-11, 2009 , Shakori Hills Fall Grassroots Festival of Music and Dance .
