Subject: RE: Review: Transatlantic Sessions From: r.padgett Date: 20 Sep 09 - 08:12 AM Yes seen some of these sessions, mighty fine music from both sides Scots such as Aly Bain and Phil Cunnigham (who has also had one or two other Scottish tv film inputs of note) those who can check BBC Alba which has some play backs for those like me who are not in Scotland Nice one on the Highlands wedding fiddle tunes!! with archive footage of Aly Bain Jerry Douglas and some highly talented US guitarists singers and fiddlers in particular and some input on occasion from Julie Fowlis and Gaelic singers Ray |
