Hi all, I found the words to Ann Boline (she walks the bloody tower...etc) Now I need the music.

I just don't have the talent to pick it out on the cocnertina. So does anybody have the proper music?

Thanks,

-Fadac

Fadac,

Is this the music hall piece

"With 'er 'ead tucked underneath 'er arm She walks the Bloody Tower" ?

If so, I only know a few snatches of the tune but I'd be interested in the lyrics please.

Regards

Walrus

Hi, Fadac - I posted the tune in this thread (click). If you can't figure out ABC or MIDITXT, click on my name below and send me an e-mail, and I'll send it to you in MIDI or NoteWorthy Composer format.

M Mario, Ah, the chords are a help. The words are in the database. But what I really need is the proper sheet music. I just don't have the skill (yet) to listen to a tune, then play it. As my concertina dosn't really play like a gutiar, well it's some help.

I'm still a simple player. One note at a time.

-thanks

If you look for any old Stanley Holloway albums (Best Of) etc., You should find it on there. It was one of his standards. Though not one of his best.

Joe -- When I tried to download the MIDI file so I would get something other than red type, this is what I got:

"CGI Error The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers. The headers it did return are: "

(and there was nothing there)

Generally, I have a lot of space for some minor misbehaving, but why would my computer be doing it?

It's on an old Vincent Price Halloween Album; "Witch's Brew," I think. Great song. So much for the British dry humor.

Ah, WhataWoman, you have to use MIDITXT to translate the tune into a MIDI. click on my name and send me an e-mail, and I'll make it easy for you and e-mail you back a MIDI. If you have Noteworthy composer, let me know, and I'll send that, too.

Everywhere I look I can only find one set of chords for this song - and they are the poorest fake chords you could find. I ordered the Holloway album & I can hear a lot of diminished chords and various weird chords but I haven't been able to pick them all out. An actual copy of sheet music might have more notes - but I would be embarrased to put out the chords that are all over the internet.
