Subject: Lyr Req: Lardy-Dardy Swell From: Joybell Date: 25 Sep 09 - 07:55 PM I'm seeking this song popular in the late 19th century. I've found several references to the title and a reference that says it was a broadside ballad from c.1876. The same reference gives a few lines: Tiddy fol lol he's no Lardy Dardy Swell Though he looks and dresses well For he lives in an Hotel Tiddy fol lol tiddy Anyone come across it? I'd be very grateful. Cheers, Joy |
