Dear Everyone,

From Larne, Co. Antrim, Billy is one of the most popular storytelling folk artists in the UK & abroad. He brings songs, music, magic, juggling, theatre skills & audience participation into his wide range of modern & traditional tales, monologues, rhymes & chants. He was the International Teller in Residence 2008 at the National Storytelling Center, Jonesborough, Tennessee, USA. He has appeared at over 300 global folk, storytelling, literary, arts & library festivals. He performs regularly with London Irish singer Kathleen O'Sullivan.

The Crown doesn't have a car park of its own, but there is one immediately behind it: see West Street (Needlemakers) car park. Leave the car park by the rear pedestrian entrance, cross the small road Market Street and you're by the back door of The Crown. If this is closed, go through the Market Tower and turn right to reach its front door.

We are meeting in the wood-panelled dining room on the ground floor.
