Sorry I missed it - work getting the way of life again...

Move to the museum sounds good. Be harder work getting there on the bike though - but an easy ride home!

Cheers,

Pete.

Both good venues but the museum has the edge for me.

Good turnout, relaxed atmosphere, a gaggle of fine musicians, different styles - Stitherum,Big John Pape,Mr Melody Richard Langridge,Wanderin' Mike.Liam Robinson & Francis,Toe Tappin Trev,Richard Burkumshaw,Alan Bunn,Ragtime Pete Wray,Toasted Tea Cakes (not a band,I'm talking about the cafe)plus parking and a room and surroundings that lends itself to the session.I'm thinking we'll probably stay (museum are keen to have us) rather than return to the Central Library but I need to liaise with both venues (both run by the County Council) to ensure they're both OK with arrangements. Steve

It was a good one - and we made it to the right venue this time! Much nicer than the library (which doesn't have toasted teacakes....)

I can never make it but would love to. Still hope to get along one Wed. Is just unfortunate timing for me. Anyone who would normally travel along the A46 will still have to use the Caenby Corner route instead as I think the road is still closed at Faldingworth. It is a similar distance and takes roughtly the same time, if you are going to Lincoln. Have a good one, Steve.

That is so unfair Steve.
Got no car until 1300 and at work at 14.00
Bloomin work
The curse of the idle shirker.
Have a grand time all.

Just to mention tomorrow Wednesday 7th October is the next Write Note acoustic music session at the Museum of Lincolnshire Life in Lincoln (UK). It runs from noon-2pm and is open to musicians and listeners.
There's a coffee shop next door plus chance to look around the museum. Admission is free.Relaxed atmosphere and some fine sounds.
Steve
