(But have been asked if it is via my website). I have checked via Melodyhound and come up with no match for the beginning of the main chorus tune. I thought that, with the vast number of knowledgeable contributors on here, if it is classically based, someone will spot it. It's one of those tunes that sounds like it's a rip off of a Strauss waltz - but isn't. |

Subject: Origins: 'Oh Oh Antonio.' Classical tune? From: GUEST,Chris Date: 09 Oct 09 - 06:25 AM What the title says, really. Does anyone recognise a classical tune (waltz) as the possible origin of this song that was, I think, originally sung by Florrie Forde. Thanks in advance. Chris |
