Mr Hughie Jones from The Spinners.



Hughie is really looking forward to this as he had to cancel 18 months ago due to ill health.

He is the consummate performer and has a wealth of songs and anecdotes gathered over the years.

He will be supported by

Stuart Pendrill, Paul Sirman, Martin Ledner, Capella(Tony and Leslie).

This will be a great nights entertainment, so don't miss it.

What a special night at The Star this turned out to be.

There were excellent support artistes, but a special mention must for Capella (Tony and Leslie) whose harmonies are to die for, and the fabulous voice of Bennett Ledner, just 15 years old, accompanied on guitar by her father Martin, had the audience absolutely spellbound.

Then there was Hughie Jones, who was on top form. He engaged the audience with his gentle wit and humour, and then captivated them with a splendid selection of songs, the majority of them with great choruses but some slow and heart felt

Hughie is a consummate performer, it was a privilege to see him in action.
