Subject: New Acoustic Music Session Derbyshire

We are setting up a new Acoustic Session at the Drum and Monkey, Castle Gresley, South Derbyshire starting on Monday 16th November, which will run on the 3rd Monday every month. This has been arranged to complement the club we run at Worthington, Leicestershire, which runs on the 2nd Monday and is mainly a singer's club. The new session will be less formal so although singers are more than welcome they will have to take their chance and jump in when they can. We would like to keep it ACOUSTIC as in our experience when you start letting guitar amps in people decide that they need vocal mics and everyone who can plug in does, turning it into more of a rock jam which isn't what we are aiming at. All musicians welcome.
I will try to update What's the Point's website (www.whats-the-point.co.uk) to include this session but I'm having a bit of trouble uploading at the moment.
