Hello from Seán in Spain

I am trying to learn this song on the guitar and sing it. Does anyone know of a gaelic version? If so please pass it on.

I am also interested in knowing chord progressions on the guitar from anyone who plays the song. I now use what I found on the internet:
G C G C Am D Em G D

I don't speak Gaelic at all and would need to learn the phoenetics also.
