This from Yvonne Hart. I think this is such a great idea:-

RUMBLING IN THE HILLS
with Yvonne & John Hart

After our 'gap year' organising our future plans we realised that after 22 years our roots are firmly planted in Shropshire. So now we have gone full circle and decided that dusting down our large collection of CDs and playing them at home seemed rather a waste so on Monday, 7th September at 8-10pm we returned to the airwaves of Radio Maldwyn with "Harts of Folk", which can now be picked up on the internet on www.magic756.net .
Now with one redundant farm building, 14 acres of flower/hay meadows, gorgeous scenery - what do we do? With help from the Redundant Building and Shropshire Tourism Grants, together with Gobowen Hospital sorting John's ankle problem with a fusion, we arranged for the builders to move in at the beginning of July and now we are looking at our new study centre called "Gleanings". Here we intend to do folk music courses together with other subjects such as Art, Rural Crafts and the Natural World. Our Folk Music Courses range from Songwriting, Guitar, Accordion, Singing and more. At present we have course leaders such as Harvey Andrews, John Kirkpatrick, Mary Humphreys & Anahata, Pete Coe, Cloudstreet, George Papavgeris and Norma Waterson & Martin Carthy. Courses range from one day to one week and will be run in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
If you would like to be put on our Mailing List for news as it breaks just email us at:
