Last Night the Top Of Coom was voted Best Local pub in Ireland On the Alison Curtis show Today FM! Best Welcome, Atmosphere, Live Music & Craic etc.

Hi Just putting the finishing touches to the program for this years Music In The Mountains Festival at top of Coom. The highest pub in Ireland. It's all free you just have to get here. There are no paid gigs, just a great time had by all. Visitors coming from UK,Germany US,France And also fabulous local singers and musicians. Anything goes from Trad to contemporary,seanos singers, and irish dancing.If it sounds like your kind of thing, and you would like to come along or take part drop us a line for further info(accomodation etc).

Hi

Program for the festival to follow shortly, as well as some great seanos singers, and superb local box players, we will be joined this year by Michael Jay, In our opinion, the best american Johny Cash tribute act, coming all the way from california to support the festival. Also, Steve Roche and John Burke, storytellers from Kanturk, and some exeptionally tallented local young singers/dancers and musicians.Plus some surprise guests! Big changes this year at the top of coom, it's almost doubled in size, lot's of room for sessions etc. come along and enjoy the weekend with us, and sample (in our opinion) the best pint of guinness, and the best ceol & Craic to be had at Irelands highest pub.

Plus Birgitt and Wolfe Stumpf-Scmidt from Frankfurt. Well Known German Irish Instrumentalists/singers.

Henk is a newcomer to the festival, and we are looking forward to
welcoming him to the
Highest Pub In Ireland, From His Home in the Netherlands.
Henk sings & plays guitar (rhythm, bass, slide), harmonica, piano/keyboards, drums and banjo
He has played with a lot of famous musician's like Rob Hoeke Gus LaPorte (from Barrelhouse), Cees Koldijk and Jina Sumedi, Gerard Alderliefste and Henk's bloodbrother (and nephew) Wim Schriekenberg.

we will be joined at the festival by the McClintock Clan, from Kilgarvan. talented young musicians and singers. Well worth a listen. multi instrumentalists and intuative vocalists. Very well received when they appeared at the Free Spirit St Patrick's weekend Glengarriff this year. A family band to look out for in the future!
