Having missed the first one because it clashed with the Sidmouth reunion and the second one because of a friend's significant birthday, I'm very much hoping to get to the third one!

Kitty

PS - Bubblyrat - what do you mean by "the usual campsite"? Camping for the Winter Warmers is at the Greig Hall.

The Holly Bush doesn't (as far as I know) support our efforts apart from selling food and beer to our guests. They haven't really done anything creative for us for years. They didnt even pay for the ads we used to put in the program for them.

The Cross Keys has changed hands and so is a bit of an unknown quantity. However as its near the summer campsite and a bit further than t' Bush it is unlikely that there will be anything special put on by the Landlord.

It's up to you where you spend your money and time. All we can do is make the weekend as enjoyable as we can. Anyway, there will be some nice Ale on at the Grieg, I won't see any reason to wander very far at all.

Can we just turn up or do we have to book in advance? It very much depends on the financial situation at the time as to whether we can make it or not so we can't decide immediately.

Friday, 26th February – Sunday 28th February 2010.

Once again the festival is ready to lift you out of the drab winter months with a great line up of artists both familiar and new. You'll soon feel ready for a brand new season of folk music events, both near and far.      Bring your campervan, caravan or just use the indoor camping facilities.   With friends old and new you're bound to feel cosy in such a warm atmosphere.         A varied menu of delicious hot and cold food will be available all day and in the Grieg Hall bar highly quaffable ales will be ready for your perusal.       We look forward to seeing - and hearing - you at the Alcester Winter Warmer Festival 2010.

Hopefully there will be a goodly turn out and we will all have a good time.

See you all there. (I might even bring my nice guitar.)

His songs Crazy World and Home are two personal favourites.

Have a great weekend & be interested to hear how it goes!

Had a really great time. Loads of thanks to Marge and her team for the organisation, and the stewards, of course.

Thanks to Lawrence and Andy for Great sound (as always). And a special thanks to our friend, Les Sullivan, for inviting us to join him on two of our favourite songs. It was one of those highlights that makes festivals like this so special.

Looking forward to June - we'll be there on the Saturday all being well.

Thanks for putting a a great weekend and for inviting us to run the folk club on Saturday afternoon and evening, It's a joy when you get such a good bunch of people together. We managed to see a few of the acts on Sunday and were very impressed. I think a special thanks to Mick and Debbie for running the bar so well.
Will be seeing you all in June for the big one.
