For singers in the northwest US, this is not to be missed. It is a weekend full of delightful and stimulating company, interesting workshops and singarounds, and populated by many top rate singers. And the late night singing is memorable--strong singing until past two in the morning!

Let me strongly encourage any singers in the Portland, Seattle area to attend this wonderful weekend. They are a little short on attendees right now so it promises to be an intimate singing weekend, too.

Don't miss this opportunity!

I plan to go..that is who he meant by delightful and stimulating company maybe...or perhaps not...

Anyway, it is really fun and not too expensive..and you can pay just for the day. You can get there by public transportation from Seattle etc...easiest is just to go all the way into Vancouver and take a bus back from center of town..forget which one it is..but it goes straight there..

That is Vancouver Canada, not Vancouver Washington..not that people would probably get mixed up...(hope they do rename WA Fort Vancouver.)

They take a group photo of everyone attending each year. The photo shot of two years ago will forever stick in my memory. As we were arranging ourselves and being arranged and adding more chairs and benches as more folks showed up--it does take some patience--it started snowing! And not just a little flurry; big, thick flakes cascading down, instantly transforming the scene. We all burst into a spontaneous rendition of "Let it Snow," rich with harmonies filling the parts of the air that were not already filled with snow! The song I usually regard as trite was suddenly imbued with new meaning and a richness of experience I never could have imagined.

You can never tell what might be waiting for you at a weekend like this! Come join us!

Cheers,

David
