Hi,

I'm looking for a chrstmassy themed song that incorporates Robin Hood.
There is actually one in the digitrad song list thingy, but it's about three miles long. If anyone knows anything shorter...

I just have a bit of a Robin Hood theme going but I want something a bit seasonal for the christmas session!!

I'm curious. Which Robin Hood song in the DT deals with Christmas? It's not apparent from the titles.

It's called 'Robin Hood's Birth and Breeding' and I thought it would be a variation on The Birth of Robin Hood (which I already sing) but it does have a bit of a christmas theme.... lots of things happening just before christmas etc...

Haved you tried various versions of the Mummers' Play, which was often performed at Xmas and in which Robin Hood would frequently be a character? He would introduce himself in a bit of doggerel like all the Mummers people. You might find the sort of rhyme you are looking for in one of those, and perhaps set it to an appropriate tune if you want to sing it.
