Martin Wydham-Read will be performing at Maidenhead Folk Club this Thursday 12th November.
To quote form the club web site:
"It's six years since Martin last came to Maidenhead. Still going strong, a great evening guaranteed from this singer/guitarist. Come early!"
Hope to see some of you there distance permitting (residents of America and Australia excused)

Will Denmark be excused, too? I'd love to be there, but it's too far to travel..

I caught up with Martyn at Whitby this year, and he's definitely worth listening to!

Bente

We have him and Iris Bishop at Faldingworth Live next March and on the same day in the afternoon we have a very special Lincolnshire Folk event run by Mr & Mrs Sooz. What a great day that will be.

Bath Road RG10

oh see the Maidenhead permathread

Great old club - been going for decades - famous for its alternate year songwriting contest that George Papavgeris has not won ? - Yet , but I doubt if he cares now

former winners include Tony Geen, Les Sullivan and Moses

But no G P

Pearl is a gem

Terry, you've barely reached Brum in 100 miles, hardly Oop North!

Can't make Thursday I'm afraid, shame, cos it's bound to be a great evening.
