Subject: Lyr Req: I've got a thing about thighs... From: Jack Taylor Date: 17 Nov 09 - 08:01 PM Heard in Manchester in the 1960's sung by a duo. Bit of a ragtime tune. The line I give was the pay-off last line of the chorus. |

Subject: RE: Lyr Req: I've got a thing about thighs... From: Jack Taylor Date: 18 Nov 09 - 05:37 PM I see we have a rare Guest here. Ans: Mid 60's. Either Wagon & Horses, Bridge Street or M/C Sports Guild, Long Millgate. It might possibly have been Diz Disley with mate. Origin UK with a very London East End accent. Rhyming words with 'thighs' were eyes; hypnotize; and lies. I want to satisfy my 68 year old curiosity as I've never heard it again since (and neither has anybody else by a look at the response so far. Not worth a groat. If you know it and don't want to share it, fair enough. I'll get it eventually. You never know I think Paul Grainey may have taped it. Jack |
