Review: Marian Bradfield

The wonderful Marian Bradfield was on at Swinton last night. I could get there until about 9:30 so missed half the first act but what I saw was realy something special. Her self penned songs were a joy as were her interpretations of some classics from across many genres. All this linked together with some brilliantly witty stories by, all in all, a lovely lady.

I guess she must be on tour but cannot find any dates on her website. If you see the name anywhere go and see her, you will not be dissappointed. I believe she is back at Swinton and, I guess touring again, some time next year - I think March was mentioned but I could be wrong.
