The splendid Geordie singer and guitarist Bob Fox is the guest at the Lewes Saturday Folk Club on 28th. November. That night we are meeting in The Crown Inn, 191,High Street, Lewes BN7 2NA instead of our usual venue the Elephant & Castle.

Admission will be £6, floor singers are welcome, and Harveys Best Bitter is on sale.

The Crown doesn't have a car park of its own, but there is one immediately behind it: see West Street (Needlemakers) car park. Leave the car park by the rear pedestrian entrance, cross the small road Market Street and you're by the back door of The Crown. If this is closed, go through the Market Tower and turn right to reach its front door.

We are meeting in the wood-panelled dining room on the ground floor.

An excellent night with a full house and many new faces. Bob tells us that this was his first visit to Lewes, but it certainly won't be the last. He enjoyed borrowing one of Ian Chisholm's handmade guitars following a broken string crisis, too.

Go and hear this man if you don't know him.
