Can anyone recommend any good music DVDs to buy for my husband this Xmas?
(NOT Christmas music please!) Any folk/bluegrass/alt country/festival/folk club recording etc. Mainstream or a good independent artist's own DVD available from their website or a folk club's variety DVD recording. Source for purchase if possible please.

Does your husband play any musical instruments? If so - Homespun is a great place for instructional videos. It might help if we knew what he likes to listen to now. Also - in Michigan has a whole section of performance DVD's. You might find something there. Are you in the US or overseas?
