Boston's (W)GBH Radio used to stand for many things; Jazz, Folk, Blues and great news and views, but as of December this year they are dropping "Folk on WGBH" and "Blues on WGBH" leaving onlt Jazz (which could go too) and Brian O'Donovan's Celtic Program (proving again that all ethnic music is Celtic!).
for info., and if you really care, you will find a way to protest!

WGBH is a Facebook 'Friend' but only peripherally. I see they say, "Make no mistake. WGBH will continue to be the only place on Boston radio where you can hear Celtic, jazz, Garrison Keillor, and Sounds & Spirit. This is all part of the 89.7's schedule."

So ... it's the general 'folk' that's the concern, right? Just want to get the argument straight in my head ...
