Subject: RE: Wilson's Folk Club (The welly) From: GUEST,Ken Wilson Date: 03 Dec 09 - 05:29 AM Hi George, didn't see this thread till this morning. Glad Brian has pointed you in the right direction. We have Jim Macfarland on at the club on 28th January 2010, (but somehow I get the feeling you already knew that!) It will be good to see you again. Cheers, Ken |
Subject: RE: Wilson's Folk Club (The welly) From: GUEST,George Henderson Date: 09 Dec 09 - 06:05 AM Hi Ken, Cannot locate your e-mail address and I can't seem to get a message to you via your website. My main reason for coming over is to visit relatives in Newcastle and Stockton. Just making sure that my visit coincides with folk club nights. I will be in Birtley to see Bob Conroy (USA) on 27th and intend to visit relatives in Stockton the day after. Did not know Jim was your guest but I will be calling in anyway. Never been to your club. Can you recommend a decent, not too expensive hotel in or around the Welly. I will have a car but I would like to have a drink on the night so would like to be able to park up somwhere close. Maybe the Welly has rooms? Looking forward to seeing you all. |
