Next session is the 'First Sunday' session in the Wellington Inn on (believe it or not!) Sunday. Starts about 3pm, songs, tunes etc. all welcome.

And then there's the Black Boy session on Monday. Mainly tunes, kick off about 8pm.

It was a bit of culture shock to find ourselves taking part in a session at the Black Boy on Wednesday … in the middle of the afternoon and mid week too. Then I remembered i'm retired. Shame, it felt really cool to be bunking off work and playing in a real ale pub with some serious history. Brilliant!

Next Monday will see the last of the third Monday sessions at the Wellington. From next month it will be replaced by a third Sunday session, run in a similar way to the first Sunday session, starting at about 3pm, all welcome.

Can anyone confirm that the session at the Wellington Pub this coming Monday evening (18th April)is going to happen?

I came last month with David (my friend in a wheelchair)and I need to arrange transport for him.

I really enjoyed joining in. I felt welcome - nice feeling.
