Subject: Free printable sheetmusic blanks online From: Desert Dancer Date: 04 Dec 09 - 12:09 AM Print out sheetmusic blank pages from this web site: http://www.blanksheetmusic.net/ Very, very cleverly done. Options for TAB layouts, as well as normal 5-line staffs; grouped staves, etc. Poke around -- you can create your own type of layout from a variety of useful features, or select from an assortment of layouts (see the "Staff Paper Directory" link to that page). No logging in is required, but if you want to save your custom layout and return to it later, you can create an account and do so. We used it once for mando TAB pages, just went back today because my son was wanting some pages for percussion work. ~ Becky in Tucson |

Subject: RE: Free printable sheetmusic blanks online From: Ross Campbell Date: 04 Dec 09 - 09:42 PM Somewhere upstairs I have a seven-string guitar, bought for curiosity value more than anything else and described then as a Georgian guitar (also seen it described as a Russian guitar). I just tuned the extra string down to low D. YouTube clips here Two alternative tunings appear on these clips:- ADGCFAD AEADFsharpBB Or you can treat an eight-string guitar as a seven-course instrument like this guy. Any advance on eight? I used to play a Portuguese Mandolin (Thuringer Waldzither) with nine, but they were set up in five courses GCGDA, the single string was the low G. Ross |
