Subject: RE: Dickensian Day at the Sun (UK) From: McGrath of Harlow Date: 11 Dec 09 - 04:38 PM Do we actually need to dress differently in order to pass as Dickensian? On a visit to the Chatham Royal Dockyard - a place with strong Dickens connections I was wearing the same stuff I generally do. The guide was dressed in mid-victorian costume. However, we were dressed more or less identically - black waistcoat, collarless shirt, black trousers, leather boots. |
