THE REST OF THE YEAR, written by David Buskin, was recorded by Mary Travers on her album "Morning Glory" (1972) and by D. C. Anderson on his album "All Is Calm, All Is Bright" (2001). I transcribed this from a sample at Allmusic.com:

This was a tough one to transcribe, mainly because it seems to have no regular metrical structure, and lots of dangling phrases that are not part of any complete sentence. So I had to guess where to insert line breaks and punctuation.
