And the thing is, they love it as well. Danny is doing a great job as m/c and we have further plans to make the music scene even better. Should be able to open the doors by the end of January. Spent a very pleasant Friday evening there back in October enjoying a fine performance by Ron Bankley and Michel Dion and still enjoying Ron's music via his latest CD "Falling Forward" which he premiered that evening. Looking forward to getting back to catch some of the up-coming acts especially Bruce in March. |

A young couple opened up a small coffee shop and in a chance conversation they mentioned that they would like to have music on a Friday evening. So every Friday evening starting at 7 till 8:30 is open mike followed by the special guest from 8:30 to 9:30. The special guest takes 100% of the donations that is deposited in the guitar case plus c/d sales. The owners take the sale of coffees etc. I do most of the booking and Danny, my pal, is our m/c and helps in the booking as well. Here is the up coming schedule which I just completed. Some names you will recognize others you won't. The bios are not all up on the web site as yet but soon to be. We have covered so far in music categories; Country, Folk, Celtic, Jazz, Blues, Gospel, then the others which are hard to pin point like country rock, country folk and so on.
