Never heard of the song.

My dad would sometimes say, "If they sawed a woman in half, I'd get the half that ate."

I used to play a saw in my performances. And I did, at one time, have a female assistant---for the purpose of sawing her in half.

But she moved to New York and San Francisco!!!!!!

I've heard of a trial separation, but that seems a bit extreme

I wonder if the chorus runs something like:

We saw you saw a women in half...

Cheerily,

"I can saw a woman in two
But you won't want to look in the box when I do"

Warren Zevon ("For My Next Trick I'll Need A Volunteer").

Certainly not your song.

Well, I'd be interested in seeing the lyrics.

Hi -- I'm trying to identify an old song I used to sing in the car with my family on road trips back in the 1950s. When you read the lyrics I remember, this is going to sound pretty bizarre, but here goes: "Sawing a woman in half, I shivered and shaked till I laughed...a lady who had no regards for her ribs... till the orchestra played 'Until We Meet Again'... boy, did I get a kick out of sawing that woman in half." I'd really appreciate ANYTHING anyone knows about this tune. Many thanks.
