Subject: RE: Origins: Sawing a Woman in Half From: Art Thieme Date: 13 Dec 09 - 09:42 PM I used to play a saw in my performances. And I did, at one time, have a female assistant---for the purpose of sawing her in half. But she moved to New York and San Francisco!!!!!! Art Thieme |

Subject: Origins: Sawing a Woman in Half From: GUEST,BlueLizard Date: 12 Dec 09 - 02:07 AM Hi -- I'm trying to identify an old song I used to sing in the car with my family on road trips back in the 1950s. When you read the lyrics I remember, this is going to sound pretty bizarre, but here goes: "Sawing a woman in half, I shivered and shaked till I laughed...a lady who had no regards for her ribs... till the orchestra played 'Until We Meet Again'... boy, did I get a kick out of sawing that woman in half." I'd really appreciate ANYTHING anyone knows about this tune. Many thanks. |
