BBC Four Sessions, The Christmas Session

As many of you know BBC TV Four will be showing a Folk Christmas Special this year. It was filmed on 23rd November in Shoreditch Town Hall.

There is a BBC Four Sessions website now up with 13 short videos of the performers backstage and in concert to watch ~ useful for those not able to see the actual programme via iPlayer etc.

Bellowhead, The Unthanks, Jim Moray, Belshazzar's Feast, Thea Gilmore, Liza Knapp: playing and chatting: together and alone .... enjoy!

Also saw John Kirkpatrick doing a return to BBC TV Two's Victorian Farm to play in the new Christmas 3 Part Series. He played, sang and organised the harvest home dancing at the end of part 1.
Lots of Pewter Mugs in evidence.
Don't know if he'll be performing in the final Christmas party scenes.
